Great Yarmouth Charter Academy gets a new science building

On Monday 11th November a celebration event took place at Great Yarmouth Charter Academy to recognise the investment being made in the school premises.

Among the visitors were the Mayor and Mayoress of Great Yarmouth, the High Steward of Great Yarmouth, the Rector of Great Yarmouth Parish, the Chair of the Great Yarmouth Grammar school Foundation and Dame Rachel de Souza.

As the visitors gathered they were entertained by some excellent musical performances by pupils at the school, supported by Mr Stephens (Trust Director of Music). The formal signing of the structure took place along with a blessing of the building by the Rector. The new science 
building is due to be completed in Summer 2020.
