In an impressive display of mathematical prowess, Great Yarmouth Charter Academy has achieved remarkable success in the England Rocks! online times tables competition, securing a stellar 3rd place in the UK and claiming 1st place in the East of England. This exciting tournament saw schools nationwide compete, showcasing their students' skills in multiplication and division.

The competition ran over three days in November, with pupils testing their abilities to answer as many questions as possible correctly within a limited timeframe. With a combined effort from their dedicated students, Charter Academy outperformed numerous top-performing schools, culminating in an exhilarating finish.

Jade Nouri, the lead teacher for the competition, expressed her pride in the students' achievements. “I am incredibly proud of our pupils. Their dedication and teamwork during the tournament were truly inspiring. This achievement highlights their mathematical skills and ability to collaborate and support one another,” Ms Nouri stated.

Among the standout contributors were sisters Jiya and Riya Dondeti, who played a vital role throughout the three days of competition. Their enthusiasm and commitment greatly contributed to the academy's success. Jiya remarked, “It was a lot of fun competing with my friends and challenging ourselves.” Riya added, “We had a great time helping each other and celebrating our successes together.”

The academy is buzzing with excitement as it prepares to celebrate this phenomenal achievement. Students will be recognised for their hard work, and golden tickets will be awarded to highlight their incredible effort during the competition.

Congratulations to all the pupils who participated, and a special shout-out to the 16 Charter Academy pupils competing 3 days in a row for achieving such impressive results in England Rocks!
