Charter students raise record breaking amount for charity in their annual 'Santa Run'

Pupils were asked if they could just make a small donation or if possible get sponsored for the event and then complete the course to the best of their ability. The response was excellent from the pupils and their families and as always this support has been very appreciated.

The events went very well with unseasonably warm weather which was welcomed by all involved from the runners to the staff supervising. The year 9&10 competition happened before break and the year 7&8 competition happened after break.  We even got a visit from Santa who completed the course with the pupils on both occasions.

The pupils managed to raise a record £3298 which also means that for the 8 years we have been supporting EACH we have raised £13,483.62.
